As 2013 comes to an end I look back and realize it has not gone according to my plan. I had the simplest of plans which was to keep working and earn enough money to enable me mentor the boys at the juvenile prison and other children elsewhere. At the time I was leaving my job to explore my goals and dreams I had a plan that I knew was surely going to work.
Three months down the line, I discovered I was going to depend on faith, hope and trust that God would turn my life around. As I got deeply involved in developing the programme at the juvenile prison, a lot of things happened and I became more broke by the day. I look back and I realize it if only by the grace of God that I have managed to come this far.
I thank God and the people who have supported the initiative a long the way.
